With the advent of high frequency trading, attention has focused on the role of market participants in promoting or preventing orderly markets. Moreover, governments are struggling with the questions of what is ethical and unethical behavior in the markets. This talk focuses on the author's recent research, which largely defines the ethics of markets, and introduces their concept of ethical trading behavior as behavior that promotes market effectiveness. Market effectiveness is defined using concepts taken from both Finance and Quality Management theory.

随着高频贸易的出现，市场参与者在促进或阻止有序市场方面的作用越来越受到关注。此外，各国政府正在努力解决市场中什么是道德和不道德行为的问题。本报告着重介绍Cooper教授最近的研究成果，该研究主要定义了市场伦理，并介绍了其概念，即以道德交易行为作为促进市场有效性的行为。市场有效性是利用金融学和质量管理理论中的概念来定义的。

Ricky Cooper教授是伊利诺伊理工大学金融学教授、范德堡大学兼职教授。他还在韦恩州立大学和哈佛大学任职过，作为高级管理人员曾任职于三家不同的投资公司。RickyCooper教授在核心金融和信息技术期刊上发表了多篇论文，包括The Journa of Financial Economics, The Journal of Information Technology, The Journal of Futures Markets, The Financial Analyst’s Journal, The Journal of Investment Strategies。
